I had a great time at the Moxy in Chelsea. I chose it specifically because I needed a central hotel and because the rooms looked modern and spacious in the photos (and my room didn't disappoint). Everything was spotless, the room was cleaned/the bed was made every day - I never felt like I needed to run after something or ask for something because everything was already there once I returned for my evening break before leaving again for a show or dinner. When I didn't feel like going out again, I would go downstairs an order some food from the bar - the selection isn't huge, but the food is good and hits the spot. I think it is provided by the Italian restaurant in the building. It's also worth visiting the rooftop bar/club - the views downtown are especially nice (and I even managed to glimpse the Statue of Liberty after I zoomed in a lot with my phone). This was a trip that I took alone because I wanted to have some time in NYC by myself and relax. The Moxy provided the perfect atmosphere for that. I'll definitely be back. Thank you for making my stay special! :)

The location of the hotel could not have been more perfect for my boyfriend and I. We walked to Moxy from the Amtrak station (about 10 minutes) and were able to drop our bags off at the hotel for free. There was an 'early check-in' option for $50 additional, which we opted for. I had mentioned a preference to have a room on a high level overlooking the city and the hotel delivered! Our view was stunning! The street noise was not an issue for us and you really couldn't hear other neighboring guests in the hotel, from our experience. You can easily walk to the subway from the hotel (about 5 minutes) and there are plenty of convenience stores nearby if you need to grab something quick. We found some lovely restaurants and bars that we frequented and enjoyed. Nearby attractions also walkable from the hotel were Chelsea Market, Chelsea Flea, the Empire State Building, and Bryant Park. The café in the hotel was convenient and we each had yummy croissants and coffee. We didn't have a chance to enjoy the rooftop cocktail bar but it seemed popular.

Everything was great! The room was exactly the one I had asked for prior to our trip and the hotel staff had gone above and beyond to decorate it accordingly with rose petals and candles, because I had informed them that the trip was our honeymoon. The room was spotless clean when we arrived, with truly great views, very convenient location! An erroneous charge was made upon our check out that was meant for another room, however, I spotted and it was amended with no fuss from the hotel staff, which was great.

We were given a room with a city view on the 29th floor, which was nice. The room was clean, and the shower was hot with good water pressure. The location was a short walk to the 28th Street Metro station and was also walkable to nearby restaurants and shopping. The hotel has a cafe attached to the lobby which we only utilized on our last day, but is nice for grabbing a coffee and pastry or sandwich.

The location is excellent, and I loved the style of the room. Having stayed at Moxy's before, I knew what to expect, and it was fine for us. However, I recognize that others might find it too small. The room was clean, functional, and stylish, and the view was quite impressive.
